At 746 AM CDT...Fair weather waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10 nm south of Petit Bois Pass to 14 nm south of Pensacola Pass...moving northwest at 5 knots. Locations impacted include... Gulf Shores Beach, Farewell Buoy, Petit Bois Pass, Perdido Pass, and Sand Island Lighthouse. The primary threats from these waterspouts are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these waterspouts have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
