At 816 AM CDT...Scattered thunderstorms were located 29 nm south of Farewell Buoy. These storms were moving slowly westward 5 to 10 knots. These storms will remain over mainly open waters. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
