At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 47 nm west of Palm Bay to 19 nm east of Siesta Key to near Venice, moving northwest at 10 knots.
