A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound... Coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Englewood FL out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM... At 339 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 14 nm east of Don Pedro Island to 6 nm northwest of Captiva to 11 nm southwest of Sanibel, moving northwest at 10 knots.
