A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Detroit River... Lake St. Clair Open Lake (U.S. Portion)... Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape MI... St. Clair River... At 925 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to 30 knots and frequent lightning. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near The Ambassador Bridge to near Elizabeth Park Marina to 9 nm northwest of Monroe Harbor, moving east at 30 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... Elizabeth Park Marina, Lake Erie Metropark Harbor, Detroit River Light, The Ambassador Bridge, Wyandotte, Grosse Ile, Belle Isle, Estral Beach, and Gibraltar around 930 AM EDT. Monroe Harbor and Stony Point around 935 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Estral Beach, Stony Point, and Gibraltar.
