The areas affected include... Lake Erie from Ripley to Buffalo... At 639 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers developing over Lake Erie capable of producing waterspouts. These showers were located 16 nm northwest of Van Buren Point, or 19 nm west of Dunkirk, moving east at 35 knots. Locations impacted include... Small Boat Harbor, Van Buren Point, Lake Erie Beach, Wanakah, Barcelona, Woodlawn Beach, Sturgeon Point, Dunkirk, Athol Springs, Bayview, Ripley, and Sunset Bay.
