A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Nearshore and Open Waters from Avon Point to Geneva-on-the Lake OH... At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 24 nm northwest of Fairport Harbor to 6 nm southwest of Willowick, moving east at 30 knots.
