The areas affected include... Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sturgeon Bay... Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sturgeon Bay... * At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 5 NM north of Cana Island Light to over Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Light, moving southeast at 20 knots. The strong thunderstorm will be near... Jacksonport around 500 PM CDT. Whitefish Point and Cana Island Light around 505 PM CDT.
