A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Nearshore Waters from Northerly Island to Calumet Harbor... Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City... Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake... At 1057 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing a north wind shift with speeds up to 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 16 nm northwest of New Buffalo to Navy Pier, moving south at 20 knots.
