The areas affected include... Huron Islands to Marquette MI... Lake Superior East of a line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI and West of a line from Grand Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border Beyond 5NM from shore... Marquette to Munising MI... At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This thunderstorm was located 24 nm south of The Huron Islands, or 29 nm west of Presque Isle, moving east at 45 knots.
