A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Grand Marais to Whitefish Point MI... Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border... At 1102 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 20 nm north of Whitefish Point to 8 nm southeast of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, moving east at 30 knots. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Muskallonge State Park around 1105 PM EDT.
