Full official description

Bulletin details

Scattered showers will continue across the coastal waters through Sunday morning. With increasing instability and enhanced potential for rotating storms, isolated waterspouts will be possible today, mainly from the coastal waters off of the Santa Barbara Central Coast southward to the inner waters south of Point Conception. These same areas will also have a 5-10 percent chance of thunderstorms today. Waterspouts are dangerous and can capsize boats. Never move closer to investigate or take photos. The best way to avoid a waterspout is to move at a 90 degree angle to its apparent movement.
