The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect until 7 PM AKDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Upper Tanana Valley. * TIMING...Until 7 PM AKDT this evening. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid to upper 70s, isolated locations may hit 80 degrees. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected due to a a combination of gusty downsloping winds from the south, low humidity, and unseasonably warm temperatures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will diminish through the evening and overnight hours. Winds will trend downwards through Monday night into Tuesday.
