What the bulletin says to do
A Red Flag Warning is issued when weather conditions that promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening are forecast. This does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to receive information from authorities. Please advise responding agencies or fire crews in the field of this fire weather alert. Follow all fire restrictions. One less spark, one less wildfire. Never leave burning debris or camp fires unattended; extinguish them completely. Avoid using equipment or machinery that could create a spark. Secure tow chains to avoid dragging and subsequent sparks. Never toss cigarette butts out of your vehicle's window. Remember, one less spark, one less flame. Familiarize yourself with your emergency plan! Where will you go? How will you get there? Do you have your go kit ready to go? Who will you call to let others know you are safe?
