The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Red Flag Warning for scattered thunderstorms, which is in effect from 1 PM to 9 PM MDT Tuesday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 422 Sawtooth Range/Northern Sawtooth NF. * IMPACTS...Scattered thunderstorms produce frequent dangerous lightning over an area that can mean extreme initial attack burdens for wildland fire fighting resources. * THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage during the afternoon and evening period. Thunderstorms will during the late night hours at isolated coverage. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts to 40 mph are possible.
