...HOT DRY WINDY CONDITIONS IN NW NEVADA TODAY... .Relative humidity in the single digits combined with afternoon westerly wind gusts of 30-33 mphs will create hazardous fire weather conditions. The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 437. * WIND...30-33 mph gusts * HUMIDITY...4-10% * THUNDERSTORMS...0% chance * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
