...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED IN THE SOUTHERN WILLAMETTE VALLEY MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING DUE TO DRY CONDITIONS AND NORTHERLY WINDS GUSTING UP TO 25 MPH... ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED IN THE WESTERN COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR DRY CONDITIONS AND EASTERLY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH... The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM Tuesday to 8 PM PDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AFFECTED AREA...In Washington, Fire Weather Zone 636 Western Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and Washington. * WINDS...East 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Winds will be strongest Tuesday morning through early Tuesday afternoon, and again Tuesday night through early Wednesday afternoon. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15-20 percent. Relative humidity values will be lowest Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon.
