At 1046 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Lincoln to 3 miles northeast of Lee Creek to 4 miles north of Rudy to 3 miles southeast of Van Buren, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations in or near the path include... Fort Smith... Van Buren... Stilwell... Cedarville... Mountainburg... Natural Dam... Alma... Mulberry... Dyer... Winslow... Chester... Rudy... Adair State Park... Christie... Blackburn... Maryetta... Lee Creek... Baron... Short... Devils Den State Park... This includes the following highways, Interstate 40 in Arkansas between mile markers 0 and 21. Interstate 40 in Oklahoma near mile marker 328.
