At 447 PM MST /547 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wupatki National Monument, or 28 miles northeast of Flagstaff, moving north at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public reported. 440 PM MST, park rangers at Wupatki National Monument reported nickel size hail. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Wupatki National Monument, Black Falls Crossing, Doney Mountain, Wupatki Visitors Center, Standing Rocks and Black Falls.
