Bulletin details

At 238 PM MST /338 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near Roosevelt Point Overlook, or 13 miles northwest of Desert View Watchtower, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include... Roosevelt Point Overlook, Point Imperial Picnic Area, Bright Angel Point, Saddle Mountain Overlook, Vista Encantada, Kwagunt Valley, Buddha Cloister, Malgosa Canyon and Saddle Mountain Wilderness. This includes the Colorado River between river miles 52 and 57. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Ribbon Falls, North Rim Campground, Cottonwood Campground, Little Nankoweap Camp Site, Upper Nankoweap Camp Site, Main Nankoweap Camp Site, Lower Nankoweap Camp Site, Kwagunt Marsh Camp Site, Kwagunt Camp Site, Below Kwagunt Camp Site, Manzanita Rest Area and Roaring Springs.
