At 251 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Whiteriver, or 30 miles south of Show Low, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Whiteriver, Rainbow City, Seven Mile, Turkey Creek, Fort Apache, Whiteriver Airport, Kinishba Ruins, Canyon Day and East Fork. This includes State Route 73 between mile markers 325 and 342.
