At 658 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 24 miles south of GuVo to 8 miles north of GuVo, moving west at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees....

What the bulletin says to do

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Bulletin details

At 658 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 24 miles south of GuVo to 8 miles north of GuVo, moving west at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... GuVo, Ali Chugk, San Simon, Pia Oik and San Simon West. This includes Route 86 between mile markers 67 and 74.
