At 358 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rio Rico, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Tubac, Rio Rico, Patagonia, Patagonia Lake State Park, Tumacacori and Amado. This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 between mile markers 15 and 29. Route 82 between mile markers 12 and 19...and between mile markers 23 and 25.
