At 402 AM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hawkins, or 34 miles southwest of Prescott, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Congress, Yarnell, Escapees North Ranch, Peeples Valley, Hawkins, Piedmont, Date and Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park. This includes the following highways... Highway 93 between mile markers 177 and 188. State Route 71 between mile markers 100 and 109. State Route 89 between mile markers 265 and 280.
