South central Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 715 PM MDT. * At 624 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Branson, or 25 miles north of Des Moines, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Las Animas County.
