Pickens County in north central Georgia... * Until 1130 PM EDT. * At 1048 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Tate, or near Jasper, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Canton, Jasper, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, Nelson, Waleska, Talking Rock, Free Home, Buffington, Hickory Flat, Union Hill, Lake Arrowhead, Sequoyah Lake, Marblehill, Salacoa Valley, Blaine, Lake Tamarack, Talmadge, Holbrook, and Lathemtown.
