SVRFFC The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Gilmer County in north central Georgia... Eastern Murray County in northwestern Georgia... Northwestern Fannin County in north central Georgia... * Until 1015 PM EDT. * At 936 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jones Mill, or 13 miles northeast of Chatsworth, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Ellijay, East Ellijay, Talona, Tails Creek, Jones Mill, Higdon, Cohutta Wilderness, Conasauga Lake, Tennga, Cartecay, Mountaintown, Fort Mountain State Park, Colwell, Roundtop, and Cisco.
