Northwestern Fannin County in north central Georgia... * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Flint Springs, or 11 miles south of Cleveland, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Varnell, Cohutta, Crandall, Conasauga Lake, Tennga, Beaverdale, Sumac, Jones Mill, Cisco, Gregory, Cohutta Wilderness, and Red Clay State Park.
