At 700 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Homestead, or 9 miles east of Marengo, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Williamsburg, Walford, Norway, Amana, Conroy, Middle Amana, South Amana, Homestead, West Amana, Upper South Amana, East Amana, Watkins, and High Amana. This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 221 and 229.
