At 301 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Weeping Water to 3 miles southwest of Dunbar to 5 miles southwest of Cook, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Nebraska City, Syracuse, Weeping Water, Elmwood, Palmyra, Cook, Unadilla, Avoca, Talmage, Union, Nehawka, Dunbar, Douglas, Lorton, Otoe, Alvo, Burr, and Camp Catron. This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 7 and 20.
