At 611 PM MDT /511 PM PDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 23 miles south of Tarkio to 22 miles west of Victor, or along a line from 35 miles south of Superior to 26 miles northwest of Hamilton, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Quarter size hail. Wind gusts to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar...

What the bulletin says to do

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing large hail. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 611 PM MDT /511 PM PDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 23 miles south of Tarkio to 22 miles west of Victor, or along a line from 35 miles south of Superior to 26 miles northwest of Hamilton, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Quarter size hail. Wind gusts to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include... Powell and Lolo Pass.
