What the bulletin says to do

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small interior room. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 846 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from West Brooklyn to Triumph to near Lostant, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, Henry, DePue, Granville, Ladd, La Moille, Dalzell, Bureau Junction, McNabb, Putnam, Mark, Cherry, Malden, Seatonville, Magnolia, Standard, Arlington, and Dover. This also includes Donnelley DePue State Fish and Wildlife Area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 57 and 72. Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 13.
