At 424 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chrisman, or 14 miles north of Paris, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Edgar and southeastern Vermilion Counties, including the following locations... Edgar, Scottland, Metcalf, and Indianola. This also includes Harry Babe Woodyard State Natural Area.
