For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 1242 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Potomac, or 9 miles northwest of Danville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near... Danville around 1245 AM CDT. Vermilion Regional Airport around 1250 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Muncie, Armstrong, Collison, Belgium, Alvin, Bismarck, and Henning. This also includes Kickapoo State Recreation Area and Middle Fork State Fish and Wildlife Area. This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 199 and 220.
