Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

At 352 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sidell, or 14 miles southwest of Danville, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near... Georgetown and Ridge Farm around 400 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Jamaica and Indianola. This also includes Harry Babe Woodyard State Natural Area.
