Bulletin details

At 1251 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Alsip, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Chicago, Cicero, Orland Park, Oak Lawn, Calumet City, Chicago Lawn, Englewood, Bridgeport, Chicago Loop, South Lawndale, South Shore, Roseland, Midway Airport, Burbank, Blue Island, Dolton, Alsip, Palos Hills, Lemont, Justice, Summit, Navy Pier, Near West Side, Ashburn, and New City.
