For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near... Mackinaw around 100 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Groveland and North Pekin. This also includes Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife Area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 between mile markers 26 and 31. Interstate 474 between mile markers 9 and 14. Interstate 74 between mile markers 95 and 112.
