SVRIWX The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Pulaski County in northwestern Indiana... Starke County in northwestern Indiana... Southern La Porte County in northwestern Indiana... * Until 300 PM EDT/200 PM CDT/. * At 237 PM EDT/137 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Valparaiso to near Kouts to Lake Village, moving east at 45 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR SOUTHERN LA PORTE, STARKE, AND PULASKI COUNTIES! HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. * Locations impacted include... Knox, Winamac, North Judson, Wanatah, Francesville, Hamlet, Medaryville, La Crosse, Koontz Lake, Pulaski, Oak Grove, Ripley, Hanna, Monterey, Lomax, Beardstown, Ober, English Lake, Denham, and Brems.
