What the bulletin says to do

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These thunderstorms will produce strong winds resulting in areas of near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 1136 PM MDT/1236 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles south of Stratton to 8 miles south of Benkelman, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe storms will be near... Herndon and Ludell around 130 AM CDT. Atwood around 135 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Blakeman, Beardsley, Wheeler, and Max.
