At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lenexa, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Lenexa, Leawood, Grandview, Merriam, Stanley, and Lackmans. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 214 and 226. Interstate 435 between mile markers 0 and 5, and between mile markers 77 and 83.
