Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 933 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Patuxent River Naval Air Station, or 8 miles east of Lexington Park, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles. Locations impacted include... Lexington Park, Chesapeake Ranch Estates, Piney Point, Tall Timbers, Saint Inigoes Creek, Cuckold Creek, Saint Marys City, Town Creek, Saint Marys River, Saint Leonard Creek, California, Lusby, Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Drum Point, Valley Lee, Scotland, Great Mills, Drayden, Saint Inigoes, and Park Hall.
