For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Wind damage with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

Bulletin details

At 405 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ballenger Creek, or over Harry Grove Stadium, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles. Locations impacted include... Frederick, Harry Grove Stadium, Ballenger Creek, Brunswick, Walkersville, Braddock Heights, Clover Hill, Discovery-Spring Garden, Point Of Rocks, Wolfsville, Linganore-Bartonsville, Adamstown, Jefferson, Myersville, Buckeystown, Libertytown, Rosemont, Burkittsville, Doubs, and Utica.
