Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 1159 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Georgetown to Gumboro to near Westover, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. These severe storms will be near... Princess Anne and University Of Maryland Eastern Shore around 1205 AM EDT. Berlin, Newark, and Ocean Pines around 1210 AM EDT. Snow Hill around 1215 AM EDT. Ocean City and Cape Isle Of Wight around 1220 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Bishop, Ocean City Municipality, Trinity, Eden, Longridge, Cedartown, Chesapeake Heights, Pittsville, Powellville, and Showell.
