At 611 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Haynesville, or 20 miles southwest of Houlton, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include... Houlton, Hodgdon, Island Falls, Amity, Haynesville, Cary Plantation, Reed Plantation, Linneus, Oakfield, Cary, Reed, Orient, Glenwood, Forkstown, and North Amity. This includes US Highway 1 between Orient and Hodgdon.
