Bulletin details

At 532 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over southeastern Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, or 13 miles south of Gunflint Lake, moving southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Grand Marais and Cascade River State Park.
