At 157 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles south of Ronda to 8 miles west of Statesville to 4 miles northeast of Hickory, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
