Southern Randolph County in central North Carolina... Stanly County in central North Carolina... * Until 645 PM EDT. * At 600 PM EDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located mainly over Stanly and Montgomery counties, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Albemarle, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Troy, Badin Lake, Hamlet, Biscoe, Ansonville, Seagrove, and Plyler. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 62.
