Southwestern Carteret County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 315 AM EDT. * At 244 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Midway Park, or over Camp Lejeune Center, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Jacksonville, Morehead City, Pumpkin Center, Camp Lejeune Center, Piney Green, Stella, Swansboro, Hubert, Cape Carteret, Silverdale, Midway Park, Broad Creek, Peletier, Kuhns, Bogue, Hammocks Beach, Bogue Inlet Pier, Hammocks Beach State Park, and Cedar Point.
