At 520 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of Ammon, or 14 miles west of Clinton, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. A wind gust to 70 MPH was observed at the Fayetteville airport with this storm. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Dunn, Godwin, Hope Mills, Spring Lake, Erwin, Eastover, Roseboro, and Stedman. This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 75 and 41.
