Northeastern Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southwest of Yadkinville, or near Buck Shoals, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Mocksville, Harmony, Turnersburg, Olin, Sheffield, Union Grove, and Farmington.
